Our founder, Kevin Blake, brings over 16 years of experience in the firearms industry, specializing in gunsmithing, ceramic coatings, and the intricate study of mechanical function. He holds a Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, and an Associate Degree in Firearms Technology. Kevin’s innovative contributions to the industry include the Advanced Armorers Wrench, Auto Shell Trimmer, TRAC Tag, and TEC Tool, as well as the development of the Zero Rivet process to enhance the AK platform.

His extensive experience in the conversion and customization of Saiga firearms has also led him to collaborate with notable companies. His career includes management roles at Tactical Graphics, and professional experience at KelTec CNC, and entrepreneurial success as the owner of Blake’s Refinishing Service LLC and Liberty Hydrographics LLC.

Kevin’s service in the U.S. Air Force equipped him with invaluable skills that ensure every project he undertakes at KAAMB Industries meets the highest standards of precision and quality. His expertise extends into fabrication, welding, and major construction trades, reinforcing his commitment to exceptional craftsmanship and innovation.

Kevin’s core values are God, family, and country—in that order. The name KAAMB is inspired by Kevin’s family: Kevin, Amy (his wife), America (his daughter), Mattix (his son), and Blake (their last name). With God first, family is at the heart of KAAMB Industries.
